Here comes Peter Cottontail....

Well today is Easter and it was the first without grandma. The girls woke me up at 8 and ran to their baskets. At least they still wait for me. They know that I love to watch their excitement and I think they like me watching. Afterward I made them french toast(my favorite). Then we all got dressed up. We went to go visit grandpa and his new dog. We took Toby with us and I think that they really liked each other. They were chasing and tackling each other. The girls really like Dude(that's grandpa's dog). After spending some quality time with grandpa we went to bug my dad and Liz. I always enjoy hanging out with my daddy. Then we went to go visit grandma. Celeste actually went to the grave for the first time since the funeral. I was doing pretty good until we started to leave. I don't think I will ever not cry. I miss her so much. Today was her day. She loved the holidays and God. We always went to see her on Easter. After the emotional visit was over we went to one of my yaya's for an egg hunt. Makayla won both hunts this year. The girls really wore me out today. I'm so beat. I wanted to make sure to share pictures of the girls though. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

Just wanted to say Happy Easter to whom ever may be reading my posts. I hope that it is a great day and that your families are happy and well.

Easter was one of my grandma's favorite holidays, so I will be celebrating her! I got the girls the cutest dresses and we will be going to grandma's grave to visit her. I want her to know that we are making a special trip just for her. Every year she bought the girls their dresses for their birthdays that they wore on Easter. We will also have an Easter Egg hunt every year. The weather looks like it may actually be good this year. I hate doing the hunts in the wind and cold. Of couse if theres snow then we can't do it at all. Well here's happy egg hunting and chocolat bunnies.

OK so today I took Caitlyn to the Dr. They took and x-ray and her lungs are better, but not clear. Her oxygen was at 98%!!! The Dr. is worried about the asthma and allergies. She wants me to work on the pet situation. My ex-husband and best friend are roommates and she has a cat. Jinx is usually in the garage, but the twins are very allergic. Hillary said she is trying to find Jinx a home, but no luck yet. I'm hoping that they are OK with Toby, because I love my little guy and so do the girls. Makayla got allergies tests done a month or so ago and they came back that she is extremely allergic to cats, but also to dogs, trees, and grass along with some other stuff. The Dr. feels that Caitie's test would come out close to Makies. It's getting closer to Disney time!!!! I'm getting excited, I think maybe more than the girls. hehe

It's Spring Break....

and the girls are stuck at Boys and Girls Club. Caitlyn calls it dumb club. I keep telling them to just be patient and when everyone is back at school next month we will be at Disneyland. This last weekend was suppose to be my free weekend, but some how I always mess that up. Celeste's cheer place is a gymnastics place also. The had an exhibition in Carson on Saturday so I took her to that. Angie and Chloe ended up meeting us there. We went shopping afterward. I found the perfect Easter dresses for the girls. Then we went to eat and my mom ended up meeting us there. So after that we went to Best Buy. That store can be so dangerous. I ended up getting something to play my ipod out loud at home. My mom got a surround sound system for her house. So she asked me to come over on Sunday to hook it up for her. So on Sunday I took Toby and picked up the girls and drove to Dayton. It was funny we put Toby out with their 3 dogs and he just took to them. He actually got mad at me when I tried to take him away from them. :) So I did all my fix it chores at mom's. Her and Angie just wait until I come over and I do all that stuff. lol I told my mom that it's a good thing I take after my dad. He use to do all that stuff, but since they got divorced I do it all. So Celeste Cheer place has decided to start doing competitions. She is so excited. I'm curious how it's going to work and how much traveling there will be. But if she's serious about it and really tries then we will give it a chance. I can't believe that Easter is this weekend. I almost forgot about it. I'm so use to it being in April. It will be kinda nice to get it over with though. I'm ready for there to be a break from the holidays.
