Pictures!!!!

Long time no post.

Ok so it's time for me to catch up. Celeste did great at the talent show. Her and Lindsey were terrific. Caitlyn also did a great job. I can't believe that she got up on stage and sang in front of everyone. I could never do that. Well on June 9th one of my closest friends had her first baby. They named him Wyatt. He is so cute. I love babies, but not enough to ever have another. Anyways also that week Celeste had a big cheer show. She is getting very good at her moves. I watch her do moves that I never could do. The best part is that she is really enjoying the cheer class. When you like the things you do it makes it so much fun. Well the next thing that happened is actually quite a major thing. On Friday the 13th I took off of work so I could go on my girls weekend. We weren't leaving until after noon. As I was packing my stuff that morning I got a call from Rob telling me that my bank had been robbed. I could not believe it. I was going to work a half day, but thought it would be better to sleep in since we would be up late that night. The big jerk came in with a briefcase, said he had a gun and took the money. Luckily no one was hurt. I was in such shock I was shaking. Obviously I had to go make sure the girls were ok before we left on our mini vaca.

So after all that drama the four of us piled in the car and took off. We stopped in Vacaville and went to the outlet mall. After we spent way too much money we headed to San Jose. Our flashlight tour at the Winchester House started at 10:30. The house was so interesting. The next day we went to San Francisco. We walked the piers and went to the wax museum. Then we went to the Japanese Tea Garden. It is so pretty there. I took some great pictures. When it was close to time for our tour we went to Haight-Ashbury. We took a tour of some of the haunted areas. It was so much fun. Acutally is it was my favorite part. I got to see so much stuff.

Then this last week was the 50th Anniversary celebration for my bank. We had a lunch for our customers on Thursday. It was nice to hang out with the customers and visit. We had 74 people show up for lunch. Pretty good for a small town.
Well it's getting late and I am drawing a blank. So if I think of anything else I'll just post a new blog. I will post one with pictures from the San Francisco trip.

Rain drops keep falling on my head.

We have had rain for a week now. I'm not complaining, believe me. I love the rain. It's just not normal for us. Being in the high desert we are lucky if we get a rain storm to last longer than 15 minutes. It's also keeping the heat away for longer and everyone knows I hate the heat. Tomorrow Celeste has her talent show. I can't wait to see her up on the stage in front of everyone. She is going to do so good. Tonight Lindsey is going to come over so they can practice and I can paint their toenails. I'm so proud of the two of them for coming up with the dance all on their own. It has so much energy in it. School is almost out. About a week or so left and the girls will be on break. I can't believe that my baby is almost in her last year of elementary school. They are growing up tooooooo fast. It's getting closer to my girls weekend. I'm getting excited. How much fun to go ghost hunting. Well that's what I'd like to call it. Maybe we will encounter something. Yesterday when I checked the mail I was so excited as I finally got my stimulus payment. Now I can pay off some bills. I wonder if that's what everyone else will use theirs for. We talk about it at the bank all the time. Is the money suppose to go to the Dr's to pay off debt or to the stores to buy TVs and Ipods. Well everyone has their own opinion, but I'm just glad I got extra money. I'm sure that sounds selfish, but I'm a single mom raising 3 daughters and I will take what I can get. :) My bank is celebrating 50 years! We are having a celebration the week of June 16-20. We are giving out gold etched wine glasses to our "special" glasses. On that Thursday we are having a luncheon and we are having a drawing for a $500.00 savings bond from each branch. I think it's a good sign that we are celebrating at such a hard time for other banks. It shows how well we are doing. Well hopefully tomorrow I can post the fabulous dance by Celeste and Lindsey and the pictures I took of my sweet niece playing T-ball.

Happy Mothers Day!

Well I might be a day late, but that's because I was with my mom. I hope that everyone had a great mothers day. My sister and I took my mom out to breakfast. We gave her a mothers ring. She has been hinting to one since I was little. She was so happy that she cried. Afterward they were going shopping and asked me to go with them so I did. Mom bought me the cutest sundress for mothers day. When I got home the girls came home and gave me all the stuff that they made me. It was so cute. I had a great mothers day. On Friday my friend Liz and I went and saw Made of Honor. It was a cute movie. It's nice to have a relaxing evening with one of your friends. On Saturday I went and watched Chloe play t-ball. When she actually wanted to participate she was so cute. But being the year old that she is she lost patience really fast. Happy belated Mothers Day all!!!

Another Windy Day

We've had so many windy days lately. I wish the weather would decide what it wants to do. Anyways, yesterday I was opening an account at work and was talking to the lady. She is Rusty Wallace's Aunt. I thought that was so neat. I'm not a Nascar fan, but I always rooted for him because of his last name, car number and sponsor. So one of the parks here in town has movies in the park during the summer. Once a month on a Friday night you can watch which ever movies is playing. Well the first movie is GOONIES! My all time favorite movie. Hillary and I are going to take the girls. I went to my yoga class last night. I love it, it makes you feel so good. It wasn't my favorite of the classes, but we did some of my favorite moves. This weekend I decided to spoil myself for Mother's Day since I probably won't get any gifts as the girls are too young to go shopping. So I'm going to get a pedicure and get my nails filled. Friday night my friend Liz and I are going to try to go see Made of Honor. She's so in love with Patrick Dempsey. Sunday morning I'm going to meet my mom and sister at IHOP in Carson for breakfast. Then I'll probably go pick up the girls so they can torture me the rest of the day.

It's just another day.

Now that my wonderful and fun Disney trip is over it's time to plan the next one. We are thinking about going to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. Formally known as Marine World. It's only about a 3 hour drive. My favorite part is the Butterfly Habitat. It's really hot and humid, but the butterflies are just so beautiful. I love trying to take pictures of them. Rob and his family are trying to plan a trip to Disney World for November. I'm thinking we should wait about a year. Chloe has a Tball game tomorrow morning so the girls and I are going to go watch her play. I went to the eye Dr. yesterday and he told me that my contacts have caused my eyes to be irritated. So he changed my brand, cleaning system and has me putting in drops for every 2 hrs I'm at the computer. I did order my new glasses. So I'm in this scrap swap where we buy a puzzle and mail off the piece to the others doing it. We all pick our own theme. I'll bet you could never guess my theme. Yes you got it it's dragonflies. Anyways I make this one piece and it was so cute. I walked away to print a picture and came back to a half eaten piece. Lets just say Toby wasn't my favorite dog at that moment. Too bad for me he gives me his puppy eyes and I'm a goner.
