Rain drops keep falling on my head.

We have had rain for a week now. I'm not complaining, believe me. I love the rain. It's just not normal for us. Being in the high desert we are lucky if we get a rain storm to last longer than 15 minutes. It's also keeping the heat away for longer and everyone knows I hate the heat. Tomorrow Celeste has her talent show. I can't wait to see her up on the stage in front of everyone. She is going to do so good. Tonight Lindsey is going to come over so they can practice and I can paint their toenails. I'm so proud of the two of them for coming up with the dance all on their own. It has so much energy in it. School is almost out. About a week or so left and the girls will be on break. I can't believe that my baby is almost in her last year of elementary school. They are growing up tooooooo fast. It's getting closer to my girls weekend. I'm getting excited. How much fun to go ghost hunting. Well that's what I'd like to call it. Maybe we will encounter something. Yesterday when I checked the mail I was so excited as I finally got my stimulus payment. Now I can pay off some bills. I wonder if that's what everyone else will use theirs for. We talk about it at the bank all the time. Is the money suppose to go to the Dr's to pay off debt or to the stores to buy TVs and Ipods. Well everyone has their own opinion, but I'm just glad I got extra money. I'm sure that sounds selfish, but I'm a single mom raising 3 daughters and I will take what I can get. :) My bank is celebrating 50 years! We are having a celebration the week of June 16-20. We are giving out gold etched wine glasses to our "special" glasses. On that Thursday we are having a luncheon and we are having a drawing for a $500.00 savings bond from each branch. I think it's a good sign that we are celebrating at such a hard time for other banks. It shows how well we are doing. Well hopefully tomorrow I can post the fabulous dance by Celeste and Lindsey and the pictures I took of my sweet niece playing T-ball.
